"Who Cares" is a group exhibition curated by Brittany Noriega and Micael Elrod exploring care-giving as both subject and act — a labor often invisible, deeply personal, and profoundly cultural.
This show centers care in all its forms: from mothering and tending to elders, to the interdependent care networks within families, communities, friendships, and our natural environment. We're particularly interested in work that reflects how caregiving intersects with gender, culture, memory, symbiosis and resilience — especially through the lens of women and historically marginalized communities. The intended result of this exploration will be to highlight the importance of community care and support in giving, receiving, and the cycle between both.
